So, it's day three of living on campus and despite being tired all of the time, I'm really enjoying myself here. Stetson is my home as it should be. I'm proud of the school and it's commitment to community. It's a good place.
My room is smaller that anyone elses, but it's probably my favorite of all of them. I have a sink and a giant closet area. The lofted bed isn't very scary and my comforter is very warm and soft.
It's funny how many IB people came to Stetson, either as commuters or as residential students. So far I've seen Lindsay Grant, Lindsey Fuller, Melissa Allebach, Scotty Lamming, Chris Reniya, Matt Mcauliff, Matt Samuels, Sara Bennet, Larry Hirt, Austin Macdad, Omar Avedanke, and Robert Erdman plus Sarah Mcechnie and Randy who weren't in IB. It's really unusual. Yesterday I was eating lunch outside with Lindsay and Randy outside and after a short time someone leaps over the shrubery and takes a seat at our table. It was Austin. A short time later Larry walks by and sits down. And then Scotty, Robert and Lindsey walk past and say hello. Today one of our meetings was hosted in the Rinker auditorium and so when I wanlk up to the doors of the LBC everybody is sitting inside on the cairs in the lobby and I'm thinking just like IB testing. And then the first people I see when I get inside is Sara Bennett and Matt Samuels. Yeah, it's crazy.
But, all is well here in Stetsonlandia. Adios!
