I admit it, I'm almost addicted to fashion magazines. Pretty strange for someone who shies away from
what is this.
in favor of
one of those do want.
Ahem.
But gazing at the recent issue of W lent some awesome photo shoots, and inspirations.
Such as
I love the bright colors, the fancifullness of it.
Oh my god the vest is perfect. /fangirls
Just my two favorite pictures out of those shoots, click them for bigger pictures. Oh, when it comes time to get rid of them I am so cutting these out for my corkboard.
I've considered writing about my take on fashion, joining the school's club, or anything like that. But something like joining the club...I'm kind of :\ about it. I see the board they put up every month of "coming trends", and I fiercely disagree. Maybe it's because I like a completely different style than most, and I'd love to see more people in it. But there are some things we all wish would disappear from fashion, yet I see them time and again on the board. Why? Why can't we edge towards the classy chic? If we are going more towards the 1940s, why do I only see it in glossy pages and never in the city I call my home? The majority of what I do see is :| and occasionally >_<, oh so rarely do I see 8D.
(To the girl I saw in a black beret, tailored black coat, short boots, and red tights, you're beautiful.)
Maybe I should write more on the few 8D I see, the trends/styles I like, and on why >_< is such? I don't know.
