5 Things lists from the Weekend of Win
aradiachiba and zoe_chan came up this weekend and it was a Weekend of Win. =D We made pizzas and watched 27 Dresses and hit the comic store for Free Comic Book Day and had margaritas, daquiris and cosmopolitans! AND we saw Evita at Merrill Auditorium! (And had an Encounter in the parking lot with someone who parked their car up *against* my bumper.)
On top of all that, zoe_chan and I wrote two Five Things lists!
Five Times Dick and Tim Almost Made Bruce Smile
1) The night Dick started working with Tim on the trapeze. It was a good thing there was a lot of padding, but Dick still shouldn't have dropped him. The resulting wrestling match was almost entertaining enough to make Bruce crack a smile.
2) Dick and Tim decided to make breakfast on Alfred's birthday. When Bruce came to the kitchen. they were arguing about who should make the pancakes--while said pancakes were smoking on the stove. By the time the fire alarm went off, Dick and Tim had started throwing ingredients at one another.
3) The first Christmas Eve that Tim was around for the annual showing of It's a Wonderful Life. Dick had to hold Tim in a headlock while he put in the DVD to keep him from interfering.
4) Dick was helping on a case and the three of them sat up on surveillance half the night. After the first hour, Dick and Tim began entertaining themselves by insulting one another. Eventually Dick resorted to foreign languages and Tim broke out the Shakespearean insults.
5) Bruce came into the rec room while the boys were re-enacting a poorly choreographed fight scene from an action movie he didn't know. They got into the same positions as the actors in the paused film behind them, then suddenly, Dick was on the floor and Tim was sitting on his chest, grinning. Not, apparently, how the scene had ended in the movie.
Five Times Tim Fell Asleep When He Wasn't Supposed To
1) For Cissie's birthday, he took her to see a musical. He was snoring by the third song.
2) During one of the annual It's a Wonderful Life viewings, Tim and Bruce both dozed off about twenty minutes into the movie. Not only did Dick make them watch it again--the revenge movie was A Christmas Carol.
3) Tim was on surveillance one night. Or--was supposed to be. He was passed out after half an hour and woke up when Jason poured a bucket of water over his head.
4) It had been a long week in Gotham, and by the time he got to San Francisco, he was exhausted. He landed the Batwing, then fell asleep in the pilot's seat. Kon found him there in the morning.
5) Tim fell asleep at his desk at work--he missed a meeting and a million phone calls, including one from his youngest daughter's teacher about shoving someone off the swings. He also missed an afternoon meeting with Bruce, who found him in the afternoon, snoring on his keyboard.

Last night we were both kind of brain-dead and we wanted to play with some lists, but we couldn't come up with any ideas. Knowing us, this will happen again, so, oh f-list--any Tim/Cissie list suggestions? ;)
