Nathan stared at Peter. He wasn't going to deny that having a little brother was weird. He'd really been ok with being an only child and he was old enough to get that the age difference between them meant they wouldn't really be hanging out much. Peter would probably actually just be a pain in his butt. He would cry all the time and then he'd get old enough to crawl around and get into all of Nathan's stuff and when Nathan had a girlfriend somday, Peter would probably embarrass him in front of her.
Peter wiggled a little and his eyes opened.
Here it comes, Nathan thought.
But Peter just stared back and reached up.
Nathan rested his thumb against Peter's small hand and Peter squeezed it.
Having a little brother was going to be so awesome.
