Iron Man 3 News
This is all so early that really, they aren't spoilers cause it's all up in the air. But just in case, I'm putting it behind a cut, but you can say anything in the comments.
According to Black, who announced there that he would be writing as well as directing, he'll be meeting with Robert Downey, Jr. this week, and that Downey will be contributing to the story.
Black pointed out that the studio was not pleased with the direction of Iron Man 2 and that the third film will not be "two men in iron suits fighting each other," but, instead, would play more like a Tom Clancy thriller, with Iron Man's opponents being more real-world than comic book.
Reportedly the film will not feature other Marvel heroes, because the plan is that post-Avengers the various films will focus on individual heroes, and that the crossovers were designed primarily as a lead in to that Joss Whedon-directed film."

This to me is good and bad.
Bad: "...with Iron Man's opponents being more real-world than comic book."
This does not bode for Mandarin, who in opinion, NEEDS to be the main villain in Iron Man 3. There is no other arch enemy of Iron Man's in my opinion.
Good: "Reportedly the film will not feature other Marvel heroes,..."
I just want an Iron Man film, thank you. I'll go see Avengers and other people's films for them. War Machine and Rescue, I hope, will be included since they are Iron Man universe. But that's all I want.
