Countdown to Comic Con

I have been crazy busy this weekend! Doesn't help that I'm just coming down from a bad cold, but at least that's going away. Most of the stuff I did this weekend was just buy things that I need. Ie: shoe insoles, band aides, jewelry for Pepper Potts, etc. Little things.

But I did get a wig for Madame Masque and it looks amazing! I thought it would be really hard to find a good wig, and it took no time at all.

I also finished painting the pouches for this costume. They look really worn and beat up and I think that kind of works for it.

My roommate is sculpting on the mask, andonce she's finished, then I can paint it.

Yesterday, while running around, I found a great little purse to use with my Pepper Potts Monaco outfit. But when I got home, I realized that my fold up flats won't fit in it. I can still use the purse for other things, but I was bummed, and those are a must. So today I went online and found a great replica Dior bag.

I think that this purse will be perfect and I know it matches the outfit. ;)

So now I just need to worry about cuttting and coloring my hair, going to the tanning salon, and putting the finishing touches on my Ironette. Here's a basic costume schedule for me:

Thursday: Ironette
Friday: Madame Masque
Saturday: Morning: Monaco Pepper Potts Afternoon: It's a Surprise!
Sunday: Monaco Pepper Potts (if I feel like dressing up)

But since my hotel is just across the street, I can really change whenever I want. I know that another Ironette and myself feel like dressing up as Ironettes one night after the con (like Thursday night) and hitting the Hard Rock bar with our Tony Stark and any other parties around. No one dresses up at night, but I still think that would be a lot of fun. Lots of possibilities!

As far as panels go, Lord knows I'd want to see the Thor and Cap ones and is there and Avenger's one? If so, that woudl be at the top of my list. But unfortunately, you have to devote an entire day to these panels, so I don't think I will be doing it. Maybe next year (or the following year) for Iron Man 3.

And I think that about wraps it up. If anyone is going to SDCC and you see me, please say hi. I love meeting my internet buddies! :)
