Summary: The Avalon isn’t the Starfleet flagship, or really anything close to it. It isn’t large, or prestigious, or even particularly new. It’s not anything, really, except for Mithian’s first command, and Mithian loves it. Or, the AU where all the Merlin ladies (and George) are the senior staff of a Starfleet ship.
A/N: There are some notes about all the Trek things (but I hope it is accessible to those who just want a space AU!) over at the fic, but they are a little wordy, so I won't repost them all here.
