(no subject)
Just realized that I've had this LJ for 8 years... and there was a time that I could check my friends page every 5 minutes, and I'd see a new post all day long... now my friend's page literally consists of like, 8 posts that were posted over the last week or something crazy like that... i remember when LJ WAS THE social network site... I remember MySpace, and always thinking it was built for stalking... and I remember being interested in FaceBook, and trying it out for a couple of years... but it makes me sad that LJ just isn't as popular as it used to be. A lot of the people on my friends list i haven't spoken to in YEARS, and couldn't pick them out of a line up if i tried. So- I shortened my list... unfriending people (some) who are no longer around, and some of those who have unfriended me... but it is what it is. I mostly posted for myself and my own amusement anyways... Maybe I'll make NEW LJ friends!
