I just had quite a nice shoe-buying experience. (It was actually the follow-up of a not-so-nice shoe buying experience)

Well, two weeks ago I went to Novo and bought two pairs of shoes. I got home (after I HAD tried them on in the shop) only to find that one pair kept slipping off. Today I finally went back to get an exchange and I had to try on half the shop to finally find something comfortable.

So, I went to pay for it and the shop assistant was like "You've still got $10 to go. Would you like to have a look at our $20 shoes and then pay only another $10 for them?"

Well sure, sounds good. So I chose a pair that was NOT black - as ALL of my shoes are black - and I went to the counter. Then the shop assistant said "Today we have a deal going that if you buy one pair you get 30% off the second. So, you get these without having to pay any extra"

I have NO idea how I managaed to get them for free. I didn't have to pay the extra $10. In fact, I now have $2.95 credit for my next pair of shoes there. Technically I think I shouldn't have got the 30% deal, because I was exchanging a pair which I had bought when the deal was not going. But hey! Who cares?! I got a free pair of shoes today!
