Currently screwed by the English Grad Program because all Med-Ren lit courses are at 500 level. How the fuck am I supposed to specialize if I can't take more than two 500 level courses? How does it make my Med-Ren certificate built into my degree program like it's supposed to be? The Med-Ren program doesn't care how many 500 level course I take and only requires two 600 level. Why do I have to choose between the two or kill my self with a course overload trying to do both?
Dropped Milton because I wasn't invested enough, and it wasn't going to count for the Eng. program anyway since I have Old Eng. and Teaching Writing which are both 500. It wouldn't mess with my finances because I'm still full time. I'll take Chaucer next semester and have that count for my other pre 1800 class and replace 506 as my other 500 level; plus it works for the Med-Ren certificate.
Hate copy text and the fact we have to do a huge bibliography exercise for 601.
My head aches, my nose is stuffed, yet it won't stop running, I feel miserable and grumpy.
To balance out this very negative bitchy entry:
I have tickets to see Idina Menzel on Halloween!
Lilly is sleeping on my folder and papers on the bed. She is too cute. I love her.
Greg (the landlord) is going to fix the leaky sink and do something about the crickets in the basement before Sunday! He is uber nice and helpful.
Dustin and I traded in games and got Tales of Vesperia! I'm excited!
