So sad...
There was a horrible story on the news last night about a woman who was bringing her 3 year old home from swimming lessons and found her other two children (aged 2 and 6) stabbed to death in the bathtub and the nanny on the floor with apparently self-inflicted injuries. I cannot imagine the pain the parents must be feeling at this moment--the mom had a blog on LJ that I saw last night (it's suspended now) and the pictures there showed such a happy family and such a loving mom. She really seemed to revel every moment in being a mom to her kids. I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of were these poor parents. How do you make sense of something so horrible?
