1 - not yet... I've tried to convince one estate agent to talk to the owner of the flat, but the guy just won't answer my emails anymore... haven't told any other estate agent that I have a dog as to not provoke unwanted reactions for now... am also talking to the theatre next week as it seems the theatre has flats available for singers, so might be easier to negotiate with them than estate agents.
2 - much more money than I would earn in the 2 years that my contract will last... a 1 bedroom flat costs at least €30,000...
am desperately trying not to think much of it... sometimes during the day I can't even look at her without bursting into tears and in the evenings it's worse... had lunch today with a teacher from the Royal Opera House in London who was here for the weekend, and he told me that if that is the only problem I have, then I shouldn't worry and will be just fine; don't really know what he meant by that... I feel like am getting sick with worry... if I have to leave her behind as I had to leave Mady and Athena, I may not recover this time after failing doggies under my love and protection twice... oh God, please help me. Love, xxx
Christiane is asking if you need any help going through the classifieds - I'm assuming this to be related to any potential language barriers. She said that service dogs do have special privileges and are not considered pets, but she is not sure of the details about it - i.e. if an animal must have special training in order to be considered a service animal.
Thank Christiane ever so much for the offer, but the theatre apparently has flats of their own available and I've just gotten the news that they are perfectly ok with Millie in one of their flats. So I'm gonna rent out from them. Less hassle, and now I can sleep in peace that she's definitely coming with me :o) xxx
