Um. Yeah. Well....
Nothing going on here. Filled out a whole bunch of applications since I got home from the beach, had one interview (JCPenney), and I start nannying tomorrow. The problem with finding a job is that I nanny Mondays and Tuesdays (except for next week, when I have Thursday/Friday). So, I go to Diana's the 16-19th (not nannying those days). Leave for Pennsylvania on the 21st, stay until the 24th. Nanny 25-26th. John comes on the 27th, staying till the 1st. SO that's pretty much two whole weeks I can't work, and I don't know if I can take that much time off when I'm just starting. So in some ways it would be easier not to get a job until July, but that would lose me almost 2 weeks of money-making.
Life is complicated when you have no *real* work experience. Also no harp gigs. If I had one of those every week, I wouldn't need a second job.
Umm....The little choirs are coming up here the 13th, and in W-burg the 14th. So I'll go see them and hang out.
I start nannying tomorrow....It'll be weird, I haven't really seen them since last summer, so things will be different, especially the baby. But I don't have to start until 8:30, apparently! Yay! I have a feeling it'll revert back to 7:30 on Tuesday, though.
I miss John. We talk on the phone 3-4 times a day, but I still wish he was here or I was there.
I'm reading a lot of books (big surprise...), so that's fun. Recent: Siddhartha, A Fistful of Charms, Picture Perfect, Every Which Way But Dead, Steppenwolf, Narcissus in Chains, the Tristan and Isolde trilogy, The Supernaturalists, Beast, The Thief, and Sex and Sensibility. Some of those are reruns or old favorites.
Still waiting on grades. A little nervous.
I need a new battery for my cell phone.
Only 3 months and a week until my birthday!!!!!
