I'm not sure whether I'm going to go to the gym or try the track today. I've been doing a lot of outdoor running (up and down one particular hill near my house comes to mind!) so I might like to beat the heat today and handle this indoors. The only problem that comes to mind is that I wanted to do some sprinting... and indoor tracks do not lend themselves to sprinting. In words, running on an elevated indoor track would look something like this...
Go!RUNRUNRUN slowdownforcorner RUNRUNRUN slowdownforcorner RUNRUNRUN arrrghcentrifugalforce!RUNRunRun Arewethereyet? RunRunRun Dodge pedestrian! Goodgriefthishastobeoversoon RunRunrun LongerStride!LongerStride! Stop. :out of breath:
Whereas, if I'm outdoors in the heat, it more closely resembles:
GO!Let'sfly!Herewego!I'mdoingwell... was that only 100 meters? Here's that curve... Why do I always slow down on curves. 200 Meters. SPEED UP. Can't. TOO HOT! Longer Strides! Why does the air hurt!? Stop! :out of breath: "So, ... how... did... I... do?"
"Off by ___ seconds."
"...Shoot."

I got to sleep in this morning! It was great. Also, I saw Avatar: The Last Airbender this morning and Invader Zim last night. I think I fell asleep during the last Zim -- but I've seen that one multiple times before. Who knew Nickelodeon would be putting Zim on again? Now I'm just waiting for Are You Afraid of the Dark? to come back. :)
Oh, and the Cardinals won last night. Go Cards! El Hombre and Holliday did well. Now if Molina could get out of his offensive funk, it would be wonderful.

At any rate, today will be more cleaning, should I ever make it back to the house from running. I may also either work on Faded Light or work on the weird little snippet that I don't want to glorify with a name because I'm not sure what it is aside from involving Elizabeth, Liam, and Kimiko. But I do need to get moving, even if it is just to feed the dog in a timely manner.
