Tooooo Hot!
It's 95 today, very low humidity but even though I usually like the heat, today I just feel like hiding inside. I made it through watering the orchard and picking out the next breeding pen area for the Oberhasli, beyond doing dishes and perfecting a bodice pattern, thats my list of accomplishments for today. I feel lazy.
The new cows have already settled in and are eating out of Jer's hand. If you have ever seen a cow tongue you would be afraid of that thought....yuck.
I thought living in the country I would have some quiet time, hahaha very funny. Seems like every night there has been a parade of BBQ's, Pool Parties, 4H and FFA stuff ( have to insert here that we were asked to be on the Agriculture advisory Board for the Ag dept of the school next year, very fun and very cool). My neighbor Darrel keeps teasing me about my arm and shoulder muscles from working outside, he whistles and calls me the "Iron Lady"
my body is doing great but my hands don't look like a jewelry models much anymore.... Jer says scars are sexy!
I put myself back on the Playas roster for role player work ie: pretend I am a terrorist and get zip tied.... since Tressa is out of school I can save my pittance earnings for Christmas presents since my darling husband always wants to shop with me, there are no secrets, even fabric stores, the man has no shame!
I actually logged into Warcraft the other day for the first time in many months, said hi to people, goofed off in the new area, it was fun. I miss it but I just have no time for it. Maybe when the monsoons come I will find some chair sitting time. Who needs a "Buns of Steel" work out tape, I chase critters dammit lol.
I am somewhat dreaming of a day spa though, and Celine and I are threatening to leave our husbands for a weekend or a 3 day weekend and go to Elephante Butte and do the hot springs spa and lounge about with no men chattering about fighting styles and armor and other nonsense *evil grin*
