My day, just an average day on the ranch...
This morning the momma cat allowed me to pet her 3 babies, 2 siamese and 1 black. They are very sweet about 6 weeks old and friendly.
Bonnie dug out of the part of the barn she lives in with her 12 airdale pups. Chaos insued. This is how my day started lol.
I came home from having the fuel filter on the truck changed, I stopped for lunch at a place that the staff used to be flown into the White House by the Regan admin for their Mexican food, Tressa and I eat there often, so I had a quiet lunch.
Got home 15 mins before the bus, Momma goat had 3 babies, more chaos, moved sheep from barn stall 2 into the main pen, momma and 3 babies into the stall, tried to help them get the idea about standing, she had them probably 15 mins before I pulled up, it is 40 degrees outside at 3 PM, so I was worried about tonight.
The Schwann's lady pulled up the same time as the school bus, luckily mini-me got off said bus and helped me get this all together.
Duncan flies home Thursday night, hopefully Claudia will catch him since I have to be in Benson dropping off TRessa for her Disney trip that night, and on my way to El Paso for the local B&B investiture the next day.
E-gads, I need a week or two home with no wind, and maybe a day to build the new pens.
I am tired. But looking forward to a shopping break this weekend. Hey Texas people, what is the name of the hotel near the Warlord site, my gills dried up no way I am tenting ;)
