Disney Moments
Bah can't sleep.
Caro and Tressa just hopped on the bus about an hour ago. Caro stayed over after their game. Last night Tressa was the game winner hero. She is not the most skilled player on the team, she is about in the middle... but last night she had one of those touched by God moments. The coach put her in at the tie breaker, they were 6 points behind it looked like the game was lost. She put her in to serve, I couldn't watch, I had to cover my eyes.
That girl sailed 6 over the next slamming 6 points in a row, then served 2 more where the team had some impressive vollies. They won the game. Other parents crowded her to pat her on the back, I sat and cried until I got it together then ran over and picked her up and swung her around, it was awesome.
The of course she reverted to her otherwise beautiful but cranky pre teen self.
The sun is starting to rise, maybe I can sneak back to bed for a few before I go unload the hey, gates and feed from the truck and start my day for real :)
