I'm going to try to post what I learn in each room/route. I want to do it as I do each playthough so my experience of it won't be tainted by memory of other rooms. I'll probably do this in point form, and continue it in the Comments. One person on Twitter mentioned keeping track of everything in Excel XD My memory may be incorrect in some places--I ( Read more... )

I thought it was just a joke so I didn't include this, since he's mentioned cats before and not started it (like with Dio & K on the Schrödinger's Cat book, the Treatment Center lion painting, and the lion on the Director's Office computer), but in the Laboratory Sigma starts making bad cat puns/replacing words with cat related terms when they find/are discussing the lion tray. He also does this while in the Crew Quarters with the Schrödinger's Cat book (every time he examines it or Alice asks him about it). And 2 of the Gold Files received in the Crew Quarters explain it. They also offer a probably joke story (since I doubt a world with Morphogenic Field experiments has widely known about magic).

Sigma really liked cats when he was little. There was an abandoned mansion in his town that housed stray cats that people would feed and such. Sigma used to visit every day, and eventually learned he could understand what the cats were saying. A 'magical black cat' told him that it was a gift for being so kind, but that if he told anyone about it he would become cursed. Sigma blabbed, so the cat made it so Sigma could only talk in cat puns. A 'magical white cat' decided that was too harsh so made it so Sigma would only make cat puns while talking about cats.

Sigma explains it is just a verbal or psychological tic he has had since childhood.
