Yes, Dark Knight! I was drooling over all the merchandise for it when we went out to Nashua and Salem on Tuesday, especially at Hot Topic, but all I bought was a tin coin bank with a really cool picture of the Joker on one side and Batman on the other.

They announced PortCon's theme for next year. It's superheroes. I want to cosplay Robin, either Dick or Tim's version. Terry from Batman Beyond would be fun, too. And I have the exact mental image of what I'd like Armand to look like, but I'm not sure if I could make it for next year; I'd really like to have a sewing machine first.

I asked Kun if she'd mind if I stayed a few extra days -- since we both would be taking the Amtrak to upstate New York, if I left the same day as you, I could meet you on the train in Boston. From Manchester, NH, the bus drops me off at Boston South Station. I know that's not the same station as you're leaving from, so I could either meet somewhere on the train itself (the stop at South Station is five minutes before Back Bay) or work something else out.

On the other hand, if Kun starts not feeling well again or if you'd like to have things somewhat cleaned up before you come, we could stay with the original plan.

Im excited to eat actual Batman candy~ I still miss TMNT icecream bars...And what says the Caped Crusader is yummy more than little bits of peanut-butter&joy!covered in layers of chocolate&candy? Did Bruce ever pose for Playgirl? We really should try to see it together, though I wont keep you from seeing it first.
Maybe Armand cosplaying Robin? Angel Boy & The Rockstar? I just want Lestat & Armand with whatever way I can, but if it isnt possible that is ok too. I dont know who I would cosplay that is a superhero...Would Kio count? Oooo maybe Hawkgirl? Green tights, yellow strapless top...helmet would be too hard...and her wings...even if I made them; too difficult to transport...

Whatever Kun goes with. If we meet on the train, maybe in the dining car? I will be wanting lunch anyway. Though whatever happens will happen. I will go with the flow on this.

Since Kun's been feeling better, if you wanted to stay at her house for a few days, that would be fine. The best way to do it would probably be to take the Amtrak from Portland to Haverhill, MA; we can pick you up at the station there. The fare is $19; it's about an hour and 40 minutes ride and departs Portland multiple times during the day (5:55 AM, 8 AM, 12:50 PM, 2:35 PM, 8:15 PM). It's part of the Downeaster run; if you take it all the way, you'll end up in Boston. The station in Haverhill is . . . well, it's not much of a station at all (they should call it 'Haverhill bench stop'), but I've gotten off there before. It's about fourty minutes from Kun's house.

I'm not sure how far in advance you need confirmation in order to change your Amtrak reservation. We'd still be taking the Amtrak back to upstate New York, but it would obviously be delayed for a few days and we'd be coming from Manchester, NH.

Don't be afraid of giving us a call (or a text) if you want to work things out that way or just talk. ^^

We're not sure what our plans are for the weekend, so I can't tell you when we'd be free/without other company. Maybe we should call you? When are you free?
