Long day in the universe....
Yup, this is my first real entry for the month! :) Finally another day off. I love my days off.... Well, for the most part. Today was a pretty gorgeous day. I just wish it were a bit sunnier than it was, but it was nice. :) My mom and I did a bunch of stuff today. First we stopped at the bank so my mom could get some denero & do something else, then we headed on over to the post office after that. THEN after that we went to Fashion Bug to see if anything really caught my eye. I'm trying to look for some nice dress shoes for this Sunday & other days I would like to have dress shoes. I have outgrown all my nice shoes. We've been to 4 places to look for shoes so far. Anyway, back to what I was saying & THEN I'll get to shoes! lol OK, so Fashion Bug didn't have a whole lotta shoes. They had a couple I wouldn't have minded having, but they were about all sold out. Well, they had this one black Sketcher's shoes on display & they didn't even have ANY of them on stock. Why do they keep them out there when they don't even have them in stock?? That's what I don't get. I also need bigger black shoes for work and that's the kind I really like & that's the kind I already have for work. This are really nice shoes. I wish I could find some more easier. So anyway, we were also just looking at that store to see if I could see anything else I liked and that didn't really happen, so we left and finally went to Kohl's. They had crap. I should've figured they would. So, after that we went to Panera Bread for lunch. Yummy! :) I haven't been there in a while. Then after lunch, we went to Wal-Mart. After that we came home. lol Oh yah, more about shoes! I guess tomorrow we might try to look at Payless & maybe JC Penny's, but I doubt they will have any. *sighs* This really sucks cuz I want some shoes! I also looked at Wal-Mart for shoes, but they had crap too, for the most part. They mostly had this brand called "Earth Shoes" in stock now. And those weren't so cool. Newayz....
So, we weren't home for too long when my dad got home. It was around 4:30ish. We were actually wondering when he would be commin' home too cuz I wanted to go to a park to walk around, so luckily he came home then! Sometimes he doesn't get home 'till much l8r. Anyway, after a little bit we left to go to Danville so my dad could stop to get gas since it was semi cheaper than most places. That took a little bit of time cuz it was kinda crowded around there. Then my dad ran into Kroger a bit to get something. Anyway, after that we went to the park over there. I've only been there once & it wasn't for that long, but after seeing all the trails & everything you can go on in there, I like it a LOT! I think it's my new favorite park now. It's really pretty in there. We saw several different kinds of birds: a bluebird (saw one of those yesterday too), some kinda bird w/ yellow (couldn't tell if it was goldfinch or not), and several different woodpeckers. We tried to get some pics, but who knows how they'll come out. But, I think I'll have to go over there quite a bit! :) So yah, we walked around for about an hour. Came home & didn't really have dinner. I just ate some Edy's Dibs (ice cream bites), & a couple other little things. Then watched Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy.
Man, 2 people on shows I watched today were uber lucky! OK, I watched Price is Right today & let me tell you about this lady.... OK 1st, you know how they bid on the prizes to get up there? Ok, well she bid EXACTLY right on the prize & got the $500 bonus. Then, for her game it was "Pass the Buck", where there's 6 tags & under one of them is a car, a few of them money, & 2 of them Lose Everythings. Well, she had TWO chances and the very first chance she found the car! So, of course she stopped there. Then, at the wheel she spun 2 times, but she ended up winning another $1000 bucks! So, THEN she was in the Show Case and w/ her bidding, she was only 8 FREAKING DOLLARS away from the actual price so she got to have BOTH show cases! How crazy is that??! She must have been really lucky that day and a realy good bidder! Then on Wheel of Fortune tonight, there was this lady on there and she got to solve almost every puzzle cuz the other two got like bankrupt or lose a turn when it was there turn, so that lady got to go a lot & then she got to solve the puzzles. So, she got a lot of money from all that and then for the bonus round, she was real lucky on that too and solved the puzzle, w/ only TWO letters in it! And then she won $40,000! Kinda crazy, huh?? I wish I had that kinda luck.
Newayz, I think I have run out of things to say for now, so l8r all! I'm off tomorrow too, so woot! :)
P.S. Oh yah, one of the reasons I'm really tired right now is cuz I didn't get a very good sleep last night. Well, I went to bed around 1 (I usually go to bed around that time or 12:30), but then I got up at like 2:30ish for some reason & it was sort of hard for me to go back to sleep I think & when I did, I didn't sleep well. Then I woke up at 7ish & I couldn't go back to sleep at all. Well, I might've, but it doesn't seem like I really did. So anyway, I'm really tired right now. lol!
