Waterfight, Sci-Fi concert, & autographs!

Wow, ok today so much went on! Well, it didn't seem like it would while I was at work cuz working on Sunday's usually sucks. Well, most of the work today sucked anyway, but there was sort of a fun part in there. We had a waterfight!!! haha! :) I think it was this one girl, Zoila (spanish girl), started it and was squirting water at our manager, Rick, so he did it back to her. And I guess she probably got some other ppl & Rick got some other people so we were all getting each other. lol! Well, Dustin (the guy I like), got me a few times so I got him back! ;) I got him real good once. It went on for a little bit more, but then we had to stop cuz it was sorta getting busy. Unfortunately. But it was fun getting Dustin cuz of course I was flirting w/ him. I didn't really get anyone else. I could've gotten A.J., but I didn't. Ah well. But it wasn't terrible today at work. Mostly boring as heck. I hate working Sundays. Tomorrow'll probably be boring too, but hopefully not as boring as today. I just have to get through tomorrow & 3 hours on Tuesday and then I'm off for 2 days & then I work Fri 11-3, and then Sat 11-4. I think I have my review soon. Most likely tomorrow. I dunno. No one's really told me when my review will be & who it'll be with. I kinda hope it'll be w/ Becky, but I dunno. Last time it was w/ her & Vicky. If no one mentions it to me tomorrow I'll ask. And after we get those we will get a raise! WoOT! :) Raises are always good. Hopefully this time they won't lose the paper to tell us exactly how much of a raise we get. But yah, that was my day at work.
Well, after work I had to come home & eat dinner pretty soon (I got something from work), and then get ready for the concert. The concert started at 7. Ok, it wasn't a rock concert I went to. It was the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, but it was REALLY cool because the played all these songs from Sci-Fi movies & T.V. shows such as Star Wars, Star Trek, 2001 Space Oddessy, Close Encounters of a Third Kind, Superman, etc. And for the T.V. shows they had of course Star Trek, X-Files, The Jetsons, Lost In Space and some others. They also played Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter . It was all really good! They had this one actor guy Walter Koinig who played Checov (sp?), in the original series Star Trek t.v. show. He was there to say the first few lines for the theme song for that show & he was also there to read a thing from The Day the Earth Stood Still . Through out the entire show they had a bunch of color lights going around the auditorium and at the very end the people in the symphony had lights on the intstruments & on them. And the conductor had a light saber baton. :) It was really cool. And in the rooms outside of the auditorium they had memoribillia from the Star Trek shows & movies & Star Wars movies. They had a bunch of light sabers and communicators & cut-outs & all that other stuff. And they had people dressed up in Star Wars costumes. Anyway, it was all REALLY good. And at the end Walter Koinig was outside signing autographs and he was like RIGHT THERE where anyone can see him, but not that many people were in line so we got to get his autograph. My brother had him sign a trading card w/ him on it & he along w/ me & my mom had him sign our programs. But we were just INCHES away from him & he talked to us & stuff. He asked me how I was & I said I was good. lol! I wasn't sure what he said at first cuz he's kinda quiet. But we were really surprised that not many people were in line to get his autograph. And we didn't have to pay or anything. There was this couple in front of us who were big Star Trek fans & go to conventions & stuff and they had a few things for him to sign & they got his picture taken w/ him. We really should've brought our cameras. *sighs* We didn't bring one cuz usually w/ things like this they don't let you take pictures or anything, so we didn't bring one. And I wish I could've gotten pictures taken w/ that stuff & him. And there were also these GIANT shoes that were spread about downtown for March Madness games here in Indy. They're pretty cool. I'd like to get a couple of pics of those.
And oh my gosh! The theater was pretty cool. It's called Hilbert Circle Theater. I love theater architexture & this theater was pretty cool as well. I would've like to take pictures of the inside of it.
Anyway, all and all it was a pretty good day. Now I have to work again tomorrow, but if I can get through that than the rest of the week will be good! Wednesday we might go to Illinois to Decatur since I'm off that day & I'm also off Thursday. So we might go Wednesday. Also cuz the weather will be nice. At least it should be. And another thing I was gonna say was that in this past month of March, I've seen 2 famous people and met one! The first one I saw was President George H.W. Bush and now actor Walter Koinig . I love seeing famous people & meeting them. It's always fun! hehe! :)
Well, I'm gonna get off for now cuz this is long, so bye!!!
