I have not heard from my son since I sent him that owl. I do hope that he is not too upset with me since I did not immediately call off the engagement. I admit, my letter was harsh, but sadly he has to grow up sometime. The Greengrass girl is a good match for him, and he must accept that. If I do not hear from him soon, I will have to owl him again to make sure he is not planning anything foolish. I would not want him to get in trouble with his father after all.
I do not like these computer things, but people are carelessly putting such valuable information where anyone can see it, so I am starting to believe that I must read these things religiously. The tiniest detail can have such grand consequences when revealed, after all.
