A big thank you to all those people who have congratulated us by card, text, email and in person since friday. It is very much appreciated :o)
First stop Saturday night was our local pub and red and green beer, halloween costumes and games like pass the parcel. I narrowly escaped winning the inflatable sheep which I was much relieved about. Retribution was queueing aplenty in the rain with a broken shoe and full of fantastic costumes, some real work gone into many of them it was great to see.
In other news, we have been house viewing like crazy and we are currently waiting to hear if our offer has been accepted on the place we want. Then the madness starts arranging a full survey, a mortgage, solicitor etc etc. Luckily we have a very helpful Independent Financial Advisor.
It all feels rather surreal at the moment.
