Illustration Friday
So in record time I got my drawing for Illustration Friday done this morning and just in time to have lunch with the Disney Princesses lol So again my instructor for my digital painting class challenged use to create an illustraion based off the word posted at "Illustration Friday" This weeks word was Subterranean which was a bit of a challenge at first but once I got to brainstorming I came up with some cute ideas. I was suppose to wait until after my class on Tuseday to start so I could get feedback from my class but currently I'm in Florida on vacation with my family at Disney and I got impatient and just started working from one of the thumbnails that I liked.
Notes on the Illustration:
This illustration only came together after find some really good references images of cavern and underground rivers and lakes. The hardest part was the ceiling, once I got that done the rest just flowed on. I was able to get it done in between trips to the various parks at Disney. It was a lot of fun and I was surprised how fast I got it done.
