Thoughts on the Finale
Ok, so, I hjust watched the Supernatural season finale...
- Totally called Ruby being in on it. I am not sorry to see her go.
- LOVE that Chuck got a scene. And I love that Dean and Castiel are going "off script". Castiel's response of "We're making it up as we go" was just awesome. And I love the look he gets from Dean.
- Cas: I love you. And I feel so bad. All along, he wanted to believe he was following God's orders; that he was doing the right thing... when really, his superiors have just been using him. Ouch. But now he's gone rogue! For Dean! Because, I suppose, without God, all he has left to believe in is Dean.
- I wonder if Cas will have fallen by the next season opener. His bosses (especially Zachariah) must be super pissed at him, casting away Heaven's plan for the sake of the humans (ie - Dean).
- Bobby, I love you too. You must have wigged out when Dean suddenly disappeared out of your house. Did you try to call him when he was stuck in the Holy Holding Tank? What gives... But your tonguelashing was great. I almost lost it when he called Dean "princess".
- I was totally yelling at the screen for Sam to STOP when he was killing Lillith. Wasn't everyone?
- OH MY GOD THEY WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO STOP THE APOCOLYPSE.
- I SO hope Cas travels around with the boys next season. That would make my little fangirl heart very happy.
- The "replacement" message Sam gets on his phone made me cringe. That shit is just cruel. Ouch.
- Dear Cas: You need to touch Dean a lot more often.
- Chuck's awkward Hand of Reassurance when he and Cas are facing down the Archangel? Awesome.
- Oh God, Cas. Please don't let the Archangels kill you. You're so very brave for holding them all off. Please don't get smited. You have to be ok for season five, remember?
All in all, a great episode. Damn Kripke for leaving us hanging again, the cunning bastard. Obviously, I am practically vibrating in my chair in anticipation of next season... though the talk of it being potentially the last makes me depressed.
