There was SO much that I wanted to include. And even still I have a few thoughts but chances are I may not ever get around to it. But we'll see.
However I freely admit that the 2nd clip of DWTB that is in the video is definitely a shout out to you and to Scout. Plus it fits the confusion/desires part of the song so well.
I seriously could not have picked a better song right now. As soon as I heard it I thought of John and Aeryn. Trying to forget the outside world. How saying I love you just isn't enough..they are so much more than that.
I'm so glad that you feel the same way and GOT how I translated the clips and the song and meshed them together. :)
As you can see....I put a LOT of thought and effort into it!
There's a couple of things I was surprised you didn't include, but really, they're minor and you can't use everything. It's just one song. It's beautiful, you did a wonderful job. They are of course, just *guh*!
I can't stop watching it! I need to figure out how to get it on CRICHTON. Heh!
I haven't been able to stop watching either - rofl!! I know Sarah was able to put it on her iPod so maybe you can ask her.
If I DO make some of the changes that I've noted to myself I'll be sure to update the file and let you ladies know. But no I couldn't use EVERYTHING rofl.
When I knew where I was starting the video at [of course with where they ended up in S4 after 4 years of everything else], made the decision to include Prayer, Hot to Katrazi, and Fetal Attraction because of how close they came to NOT getting there - even at the end. And I knew that I'd include parts from the beginning of their relationship and it's rocky yet concrete start, and of course the near misses in the middle. LOL
And I still have a couple of notes to myself to try and shave a few scenes and add in a few more [and still manage to keep it in time with the music] which may be tricky - but may also just rock.
Well I expected dancing, I hadn't expected the angst of the others. I mean angst and dispair is a huge part of their story, but I wans't sure that would be there.
Again - I knew I had to go there :) And it fits that part of the song so well too. He's coming to her staring in her eyes about to confess all...and then of course doesn't as we know. And the other clips from Terra Firma was just as important.
That moment is one of the best on the entire show. She's so at her ropes end, and does not understand what's going on with him and he's just about to give in, cause really he so wants to, and then like always it seems, *boom*
Ahhh, they're so perfect!
Also I loved the geese shot. But yeah you used the mood of TF really well.
