You call him Frank Grilo and I call him Nick. Is Frank his real name or am I wrong?! I've just been waiting for the shoe to drop on that one - just like you. It's been expected that he would have other motives for staying close to Veronica, but there are times when I truly believe that he also believes in her case and wants to help.
I also think that the guy strong-arming him is not connected to the Secret Service or the Company [CIA].
I LOVED the episode. SO MUCH going on! And I too was wondering if Sucre's cousin is going to try and break out too - or if he's just trying to help his cousin out. But I loved how things came together to put a bandaid on a very tricky situation that was very quickly unravelling!
Poor Haywire. But there is no way he could really be out in the free world, right?! Michael has played him right every time he's been with him.
I wrote a longer post in my journal...if you get time, let me know your thoughts.
The previews for next week had me ALL excited. BEYOND excited. Probably the MOST excited I've been since the season started. Seriously. Things are heating up as they get closer and closer to breaking out!

The actor's name is Frank Grillo, I couldn't remember the character's name so I called him that. He was on a soap I watched ages ago when I actually watched soaps. How I know who he is. But this wasn't a surprise, which is what it seemed to be supposed to be. It was what I've been expecting since the introduction of the character.

I hadn't seen the preview till you mentioned it and I rewound my copy of 24 back to there. LOL the kiss, I already knew about that since Claudia posted caps of it a couple of weeks ago. It's in the teaser for the episode I believe.
I really liked them having to think on their feet, on their own. Not being able to rely on Michael.
