Its kinda strange, I liked everything that happened tonight. Though I don't like the paint & wallpaper @ Lorelai's at all. But everything felt flat. I don't really get why Christopher has to be interjected into things, he's so the past, IMO. Maybe its the not really being an ardent L/L shipper, I find the Luke's a father storyline to be intriguing. Though how a woman he had dated got pregnant & had a kid in a town as small as Stars Hollow and he didn't know is a mystery. This is though something I'm looking forward to seeing unfold.
I didn't like Emily's pity party in the episode where she goes shopping with Lorelai & Rory. Didn't like it any better this time. The scene itself was really good, both LG & KB were fantastic. I just happen to like Emily about 1/2 the time and but this side of her I despise.
I'm glad Rory's showing some pluck, but found her sitting around that particular paper's lobby to be weird. Maybe its that I agreed with Mitchum, he was a bit too blunt considering who she is. But I guess they want to go this way. I had hoped that the 'taking a break' storyline would involve her figuring out what she wanted to do, which I guess is being a journalist. But she's just not got the type of personality for that, IMO. I just hope they don't have her back in Yale right now, that's completely unrealistic. Its almost the end of the semester. Unless they're on a quarter system, which they might be at the end of a quarter almost.
My favorite part of the episode was actually Richard with Colin & Finn. Which was hysterical. LOVED that!
My Name Is Earl
I seriously do NOT think I could adore this show more! Beyond the fact that Jamie Presley as Joy is just hysterical, I loved everything about this episode. That and I totally want Joy & Earl to hook up again!
Him showing up at the wedding to start with was hysterical. Then his drunken speech, too cute. Then the absolute adorableness of them planning her wedding to Darnell. OMG, <3, so funny. The plates, dress, all of it was perfect. Then them fallin' into bed, with Randy watching, I died!
The rehearsal was so sweet & funny too. As was the reason it was in the afternoon. Then Joy & Earl in the bathroom was classic. Joy's trying to wiggle out of things, hee! I did feel sorry for Darnell, but then we got that great scene between him & Earl. 'Joy's a vixen', 'isn't that one of Santa's reindeer?' BWAHAHA!
I could NOT have loved tonight's episode more. No I couldn't have! I <3 Joy!
