Alrightyyyy time to update abt my japanese school's 22nd anniversary dinner on sunday. Warning: Loadsss of piccys coming up!
I got really dressed up for that day. It was the first time i've had on stockings in YEARS. And the first time i wore black stockings. Hahaha they are irritating buggers when i had to go to the loo! XP
Suan Choo was a doll to offer a lift since she's driving, so me, Jeslyn and WeeJin who all lived near the north area met at AMK. The party was at River View Hotel which isn't a really convenient place to travel to w/o a car. So yay for ride!!!
I even went n paint my nails....i hate painting my nails. I have no patience, i suck at painting, and i'm no good when i have to be dainty with my hands. Bleh....so this is purely for the sake of vanity. LOL!
No i do not have dirty nails. That's pink n black "french manicure" version.
Tracy was there first so poor girl had to wait for the rest. I think the ret of us slowly began to turn up and we had fun making noise in a group.
Here's Tracy and Suan Choo...guess where we are? It's the Ladies! Hahaha we're having a loo gathering!
Alright, we're out of the loo and now in the small ballroom area. I didn't had anything to eat that day but abit of bread and lots of milk, so i was starving by then. And they had to torture us by giving speeches after speeches and even playing this weird "high" or "low" game...bleh! Feed a hungry person dammit!
Taking a piccy while we're still waiting for the food and waiting for the rest to turn up. From L to R: Adeline, Tracy, Huiling, me, Suan Choo and Jeslyn. I swear we were all grumbling at the speeches.
Ahhhh this is Oya Sensei! My elementary 2 teacher! She's really cute and usually wears black in class so we were gushing that she wore white that day. Hahaha kept saying 'kirei kirei' to me which is like basically one of the few things i understand. LOL!
Alrite, now everyone's here! The additional 2 at the left are Carys and Teo! Carys is my BL pal ,lj user="k> and sashimi partner. The girl's tiny but she can pack the raw fish away!
The other half of the table. That's Sharene at the far right. The only missing ppl is me and Wee Jin who's beside me. I tell you that boy is sooo lame that i felt myself get tired and pukey after enduring his lameness thru'out the whole dinner. Hahah!
GROUP PIC!!!! That's Ando Sensei, our current teacher. His expression in all the pics hardly changes! He doesn't smile in front of the camera!! I have no idea why! He's a smiley dude in person. Hahaha! He has a total japanese look rite? No way he can be mistaken for anything else.
Hahaa we are a scary table. It was a buffet dinner that night and every other single table took food for their individual self, but our table decided to show some harmony and take food for the WHOLE table. Hahaha! So we ended up having plates n plates of food piled up and it made us look so greedy! Yikes! But we did finish most of the things!
Hoooo it was my aim to take piccys with all the teachers that have taught me so far...and i only had 3 senseis. This is Maeda Asako Sensei...my first teacher at elementary 1. She's v cute and they way she speaks is a little high pitch, like a cute japanese girl. Haha! The girls with me have all been taught by her as well!
2 pretty ladies in...erm...i'm not sure what the outfits are called. They're not Kimono....kimonos have many layers and are super heavy. I think they're more hakamas. Anywaez, i really like the hakamas so i MUST take a piccy with them. Oh and btw, one of the girls(while we were posing), had her hand on my tush...and i was trying hard not to laugh. LOL!
Another group shot...here's our fun shot. The angel's weird cos the camera's on timer and placed on top of a glass of water! Hahaha!
Didn't win anything from the lucky draw. I swear i have absolutely NO luck when it comes to these kinda things. My sis is totally the opposite tho...she has won so many things thru contests and draws. ~sigh~...but 3 of my frens won so yay for them!
Never been in a place where so many ppl speaks japanese...unless i get to go to Japan. LOL! The founder of the school was the VIP and she came and talk to our table! Yahhh! Thank god she mainly spoke eng and the japanese she used are simple so we understood her. Hahaha in fact, they used pretty understandable japanese there. Woot!
I've got an interview tml at The Concourse, for a co named Millward Brown. Anyone heard of it b4? Ughh gonna have a crap time finding my way there. I'm also in a bit of a moral dilemma. My sis is encouraging me to work PT at ibm(if they wan me), and the job would last abt 1.5 months. The agent already told me that if i do work there, i can't quit halfway. But my sis said if there really IS a job offer within the 1.5 months, then just quit since there's no contract btwn me n the agent. Now i think that sounds kinda mean, but they said it's no point risking an actual job offer for a promise. Ahhh!!! Advice???
