Cosplay season
I met Lian and KW to head to town, one of the reason is to check out the new Maid's Cafe which supposedly opened last month. Well...we saw alot of maids...the Filippino kinds. LOL! We couldn't find the cafe! We were sure it was at Far East shopping centre opposite the Thai Embassy but we walked thru all 6 levels of the musty building and NOTHING. We even tried our luck at Far East Plaza just in case it was THAT Far East but no luck either. Ughhh! I need to look for the specific address again. All that walking for nothing.
So other than a bit of handphone searching and eating, we din really do much. Window shopping ain't much fun unless u have something to buy. ^_^
In other news, i'm hoping i'll be able to find someone to go with me to the upcoming EOY cosplay on the 16th Dec. The website stated it's gonna be held at expo, the same as last yr(or every yr?). I think it's gonna be alot bigger than the mid-year cosfest just due to the sheer size of the location itself. Erm...i hope so. I really wanna go so i hope i can grab someone to go with cos 1)it's wayyyyy more fun to squee with a fren esp when u see ur fav series cosplay and 2)it's really tough to take pics all by ur lonesome. Gahhh!
Anyone wanna go? It's sad that i have SO FEW anime-loving frens. Damn i need to join some frigging community or stg cos it's kinda hard to find many ppl who likes anime in my sch! I know i dun cosplay but i LUVVV seeing others do it. Plus it's fun! Hello ppl, be more sporting!!! These ppl have spent a great deal of time, sweat and money to do their costumes...plus some really have alot of guts to do the more revealing/outrageous/gung-ho charas. We need to show some love man!
