Funny heck of a lunchtime
Hahaa it was a fun lunch today! We had 4 cars in total fetching almost a dozen peeps to lunch! They went to this duck rice store in goodness knows where(ivy kept recommending it) and adr, kx and i sat in ivy's hot tight car all the way there. It was a relief to have finally reach our destination, i tell u. LOL!
Others there were Van, Jennifer, Louis, Kang Wei, Say Chuan, Aaron, Eric, and...erm...i'm not sure if there's more. Hahaha! I mostly hung out with SC, KW and the girls. We ate sooo much! My god they're bigger eaters than i am! I can sorta understand SC and KW cos they're guys, but ivy and kx can pack it away too! 6 of us sat around 1 table and the others were at another table(both joined together), and the other side wanted to order individual plates of duck rice. My side(the 4 girls and SC and KW) wanted to order dishes to share. So they ordered a WHOLE duck, a plate of toufu and kang kong.
Okay i admit the duck is nice, but when we polised the whole plate off, the guys and ivy wanted more and they ordered ANOTHER plate of duck for 3 ppl! Waahahaha! Of cos when it came, the rest of us pecked at it too, but man can they eat! AND.......AND.....(yes it's not over), they ordered another plate of toufu, a plate of duck gizzard and a plate of duck neck.
Whoaaaaaaaaaaa! Okay the gizzard was my request cos i luv it and it was delish! But we ate sooo freaking much compared to the other table that had only one plate of duck rice for each person. Hahaha! We're pigs i tell ya! And i didn't even eat a full bowl of rice. I scooped 3/4 of it to SC. I mainly concentrated on the dish. Hehehe!
So the total cost for the 6 of us came to a whooping $85! Hahaha! So expensive! But since it was tasty, we can forgive. The best thing is, at the end the guys weren't really full yet. When SC saw a plate of prawns went by, he wanted to eat it! Hahaha and KW was sooo willing to oblige if it wasn't for the fact that we were abt to leave. Ahhhh so unfair how can some of them eat so much yet be so small! =_=
But it is not the end of our eating expedition. They all wanted dessert(at which i gaped like a bloated fish) so off we go in our 4 cars. Btw while driving from one place to another, all of them kept racing! And all like to come and "bully" ivy's car which we were in! Hahaha cos her car is the oldest and slowest, so they like to try to overtake her. Then we'll be egging her on to speed up and whoaaa you should see at one point where we were swerving btwn traffic. Hahaha dangerous bunch of ppl lah!
Not to mention that they like to roll down their windows and flip us off! YES! So many times KW did that! When he was beside us or behind us, the middle finger would flash! Hahah i bet all the other cars around us were wondering wth was going on. And we would flip him back too. So 2 flipping cars flipping each other. Nice. Oh and they like to roll down their windows to wave or shout something stoopid at us. Ahahahah wat a bunch of looney peeps i know.
So with all the overtaking, racing and bad sign language, they went to another hawker centre for ice kachang. The 4 of us couldn't wat much so we shared 2 dishes btwn us. By the time they finally got back to school, i was near sleepy mode. LOL! Still i had to use the school's com lab to print some crap for my EG proj. Ehhhhh ethics and governance. Boring!
P.S: I'm embarrassed to admit this but last nite was the first time i watched "High School Musical" and i didn't even catch the full show. I had things to do in btwn so i missed chunks of the middle, but it was a nice feel-good show. I think the main guy(Erm...Zac Efron?) is pretty cute and the girl(Vanessa Anne Hudgens) is very pretty, plus i like their main song 'Breaking Free'. But one of the really funny dude had to be Lucas Frabeel who was perfect as this gay-ish flamoyant jazz taping guy with his snotty sister. Hahaha! That hat, those tight bright shirts, and really cabaret dance moves took guts!
The chemistry btwn the 2 leads was good...so sweet! Plus when someone cute like Zac Efron stares into ur eyes, any girl would melt. Butttt there was one small part in the show that made me laugh! Remember this scene where the Wildcats were doing this cheerleading spelling with their shirts to cheer for the drama club? Where they went D-R-A-M-A C-L-U-B R-U-L-E-S
Then Zac was the ! and he went 'exclamation point!'. I have no idea why but that cracked me up! After all the short letters comes these long words which doesn't fit. Hahaha i still giggle thinking abt it.
I gotta try and watch the whole show one day.
