Art dilemma...

I've just recalled the conversation i had with Nad yesterday afternoon. We had a good long chat and one of the topic was our possible future study routes.

I told her that she should go straight for her Masters, rather than worry that her graduation cert is not considered an actual "degree" cos she's from ACCA. But IMO, the masters will just override the degree anywaez, so why waste time and money if u can qualify to take the Masters with what you have.
Like for my case, i'm given a choice to do a students exchange program with a long list of unis(from all over the world - Germany, USA, France, Italy, Japan, Aust, Europe etc) or i could apply to do my Honors in RMIT Australia(sadly my course doesn't have direct honors). But i'm not taking any of those up because i'm probably planning to do my Masters in the future or stg. Well, at least i hope to. So if that's the case, the Masters will override the Honors anywaez, so might as well save the cash for it rather than blow it for one semester overseas.

I'm seriously considering taking some lesson in computer graphics or multi-media...something of that sort. I wanna learn illustration. It's frustrating to want to create something, yet unable to do so due to limited abilities. Ughh! My problem is, i'm not sure whether to wait till i finish my current uni course, then take up a part-time diploma course in the fired i want...or should i do a 12 weeks certificate course?

Diploma: Of cos having a diploma is much more 'recognized' than a cert(plus i'll learn more), but this route will cost more money and i'll probably have to juggle it while working.

Cert: Faster, slightly cheaper(but still pricy enuf to bear good consideration...it's about $2000+ altogether), but i'm afraid that i won't be able to learn much from it cos it's quite short.

Ughhh any opinions? I'm open to suggestions.

I'm also dying to learn how to use markers. As in Copic markers and stuff to color, like those ppl use in illustration pics. Not watercolor, or gauche, or oilpaint...markers. So far i've only heard of one such course in Singapore and my suspicion is that the class is for kids. I mean, most art classes here are.
Ughh surrounded by snotty kids going on about pokemon/digimon/whatever new mons...pure hell!

art, problem
