Yes it's true. It's past 3 a.m. and i am awake. To watch the first Brazil match this FIFA WC 2006! WHOOOOOO! Go brazil! Go go go!
Hahaha i bet most ppl will think i'm nuts, considering i have to work later. I deliberately sack out at 9 plus(WOW world record early for me!) and was planning to wake at 3 when the match starts. But i think i slept too early and i was already up at 1 plus tossing around.
That is how xiong(fierce) i am abt watching the WC. I keep thinking that it's only once in 4 years, so a bit of a lack of sleep is alright.
Right now it's Brazil vs Croatia and so far, Croatia is playing really well against the hot favourites. Their defence is really tight, so i gotta give them props for great defending. Esp the player called Prso. He's the most outstanding Croatian player so far. Hahaha! But i wanna huggles my fav brazilian babies! Go Ronaldhino(great great playing to hold his own against so many opponents who have "marked" him) & go Roberto Carlos(cute little short player!). KaKa is good too as well, and strangly Ronaldo looks rather old and tired. Hmmm...
Whatever, i'm gonna go concentrate on the match now. Next update will be from the office. ^_^

Whoooooooooo! What a match! Wowww! I made the mistake of thinking that this will be an easy win for Brazil, but man they had to fight tooth and nail for it! Final score 1-0 Brazil win, and it's a really hard-earned win too. Really narrow win as well cos i was expecting more goals from them. There were many times when it looked like Croatia might equalized.
Beautiful goal by KaKa, hard and fast into the net. LOL! You should've heard me yelled 'GOAAALLLL'!!! My parents ran into my room to watch the repeat. Hahaha! I'm not familiar with Kaka, but damn he picks and strikes a few good shots, and he's kinda cute too. Hehehe! Anyone knows how old is he? He looks pretty young compared to the other players.
Brilliant play by Croatia in the 2nd half. They really made Brazil work hard. Brazil's defence got a tad sloppy in the 2nd half too, which set up alot of opportunities for Croatia and alot of close calls. I like Croatia's playing. I hope they make it thru to the final 16. The other 2 countries in this Group F are Australia and Japan, both which i dun think is good enuf. Sooo i'm hoping it'll be Brazil and Croatia to get thru.
All in all pretty neck and neck and a good exciting game. I'm glad i decided to catch this match. I had originally wanted to catch the Brazil vs Japan match as my first Brazil match, but after seeing the poor performance by Japan, ermmmm no thanks. I really tot Japan would have some sort of spark and set an example for Asian teams, but now i just think that that would be another horrendously embarrasing match.
Best player(s) from Croatia: IMHO, it's Prso and their substitute captain(aft the original one got injured) Tudor. Especially Prso, he worked really hard to charge forward alot of times and set up shots for Croatia.
Best Player(s) from Brazil: Not the best playing i've seen from Brazil but this is only their first match of the WC so it's still early. Kaka is one player to watch out for cos he does fierce shots for goals. Ronaldhino is, IMO, the most hardworking of the Brazilian players today as he had to fight for the ball alot of times with many opponents. They seem to swarm around him like bees. Hahaha! And he fights really really hard to keep the ball in play. Kafu(sp?) made pretty decent effort as well.
Worst?: Surprisingly i think it's Ronaldo. He seems so lacklustre this match. Didn't see much effort from him except for one good shot for goal, and he was substituted half-way thru. Hmmm...perhaps age has caught up with him?
Okay end of analysis. I know i'm gonna be half-dead at work today. Hahaha! I'll be a walking zombie, so pray hard that i won't get much orders today. Gahhh..........chicken essense! Chicken essense!!!
