BL mangas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT!
Oh my freaking god! I have been on a BL manga kick and have just read some of the funniest(and rather touching) mangas and i can't stop grinning like an idiot! I have broken out in laughter a few times sitting in front of my computer screen, it is that hilarious! Muahahahah! So therefore, i must intro it even tho almost none of my frens are into BL. Still i think it'll be entertaining. ^_^
First of is the manga called Chintsubu. I discovered this manga by accident and have finished reading 2 volumes(that's all that was scanlated so far)of it in 2 days! Kiddies and shy/conservative ppl, pls discontinue reading from this point on due to adult subject nature.
This story is abt 4 boys(pic above) who were on a class field trip to some temple. On the way there, the bus they were on got into an accident and crashed into the temple. From that day on, one of the boys fell into a coma, while the rest only had minor injuries. But something had gone strangely wrong btwn the 4 of them, that is.........
.........their penis took on the personality of each other! BUAHAHAHAH! Okay i noe it sounds soooo crude but it's really more funny than lewd(almost!). ^_^ Hence, the name of the manga translated is something like 'Murmur of the Chinkos', and Chinko is a slang for penis in japanese. So henceforth, i shall refer to the peepee as Chinko. LOL! The reason for this phenomenon is because the temple they crashed into is the Chinko temple and is for the God of Relationship...or stg like that. Dun ask me why of all the other school mates, only these 4 had this problem. It's soooo freaking hilarious!!!! Let's name the boys A, B, C, and D. For instance, Boy A has boy B's chinko personality. Boy B, the one in the coma, is sorta out of the pic so we dunno if his chinko has boy A's personality. Then C and D has each other! They're sooo freaking funny!!! And i luv the couplings!!!! The pairing is the top 2 boys together and the bottom 2 together. I luv the bottom 2!!!! Mismatch personalities but sooo much potential!!!!!!!! Wheeeee!! The one on the top left is the one in a coma. But his chinko(which is on the guy on the top right) is sooo funny! They both like each other and you should hear them proclaim their love for each other. Buahahah!
And the funniest shit is the chinkos have FACES!!! ZOMG!!! I kept laughing looking at the ridiculous faces on the round peepees, which reflected the personality of the boys!!! Like one chinko is the super serious studious type and he even has specs like the original boy!!! Specs on a peepee??!!!! And the chinkos all have emotions!!! Like sometimes they'll feel sad, will cry, will be pissed off, etc. OMG! Plus they TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUAHAHAHAH~!!! So alot of the times the 3 boys will be standing together with their pants unzip and the 3 chinkos sticking out and all of them will be conversing with one another! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! It's sooo freaking weird to read a manga where the guys' pants are unzipped so often and the little chinko will be moving abt(yes they can move and whack abt) while talking to each other. Hahahaha! Alot of sexual issue abound of cos, and sooo many damn funny misunderstandings like when ppl catch one boy kneeling in front of another boy with his pants unzipped. The boy was actually just talking to the chinko but of cos others will think of more..."suspicious" things. LOL!

Next manga i read is from Yamane Ayano and i luvvv her drawing style! This is Crimson Spell which i talked about a few entries before...the one about the cursed prince and the sorceror. Woohoo now i have piccys! Lemme wipe up my drool first...
The guy with the long silver locks is the sorceror and the short hair one is the prince. Hawt Hawt Hawt nehh?? Here's another image cos i adore guys with long hair and silver-hair ones are my ultimate weakness! ~melts~
Ahem...nothing much now. They're still on their journey together to try and break the curse, so i haven't gotten the ending yet. Scanlations are slow. But i can wait...for them. Drool! Warning: This mangaka draws rather explicit scenes so not for the faint-hearted or non-hardcore BL fans.
Lastly is the manga called Sex Pistols. Okay i know what u're all thinking. With the word sex there, it must be some pervy hentai book. Noooo it's not. I have no idea why the name is called sex pistols cos there was no pistols involved in the manga, altho there are some sex. Hahahaha! Once again, a reminder that this is BL stuff, so dun blame me if u're grossed out by the description.
Sex Pistols is kinda complicated, so i'm gonna try and summarise. This manga states that every human being has some sort of animal "soul" to us. The most common "soul" is of cos our nearest cousin, the apes(evolution crap) and 70% of the human population are ape-man. Ape-man are "normal" humans, meaning they can't see, hear or deal with the other 30% of the population which has other animals as their "souls". There are cats(jaguars, leapards etc), dogs(wolves, different breeds of dogs), bears(grizzly, black bear etc), reptiles(snales, crocodiles etc) and alot more. These other 30% are called 'madararui' and have the ability to sense other ppl's "soul" and they keep this a secret from the ape-man group. So based on animalisitc reality, they're usually looking for mates to have offsprings with(sounds v jungle-like like ya?) and it doesn't matter if the partner is the same sex or not! Hahah! Yes even males can get pregnant altho it's a complicated process and frankly i'm not a fan of man-preg. Erm...i won't elaborate further. =_=
Confused yet? Hahaha dun worry it took me a few readings to get the gist of the plot. So there will be different couples introduced and we will follow their stories abt how they meet and their journey together. All the bumps and obstacles. There is of cos one main pair, and i felt soooo sorry for the "female" of this pair because the other guy can be such an asshole. I actually cried a few times at the way he was being treated. Hahaha yup, emo me!
Buahahaha but there was one scene in this manga which made me laugh really loudly. It involves the main couple -- a small cat and a jaguar. Okay there they are in this piccy. When the madararui experience strong feelings(anger, desire, excitement, happiness), sometimes their animal "soul" will appear and take over their appearance. Usually for very a very short while. Hence you see this jaguar leaning over the boy cos he was feeling pissed.
There was once scene where this 2 were making out(sorry i din show the pic) and the smaller boy got so 'high' that he accidentally POOFED into his cat form. And it left his partner buried in a faceful of fur. Buahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG soooo freaking funni! I wasn't expecting that!!! And the part with the guy's face in the cat's furry chest was tooooo perfect! I would've spat at the screen had i been drinking anything.
I LUV a few of the non-main pairing! My fav pairing so far is with this guy in the piccy below. He's a reptile mix btwn a croc and a snake and he's a man-hater!!! Can u believe that! When he's dating a guy!?? His partner, a wolf, is the only man he'll really tolerate. That and his brothers of cos. Otherwise, if other males get too close to him...WHACK!
Strangely, it's possible to mix different species around. What kinda kid will come from that, i dunno. I think the offspring will will mixed abilities from the parents. The drawing style isn't my fav cos it can get kinda ugly at times esp when the mangaka attempts to make horrible expressions. Only those cool and normal faces looks nice. But it's the story of all these different charas that got me hooked. I only started this 2 or 3 days ago and i'm already up till vol 4. I would've gone to vol 5 but i didn't want to rush cos the scanlations are abit slow. Hehehe!
