High tea with uni peeps
I always seem to start an entry with an expression about how tired or exhausted i am. Goodness, seems like i'm always updating when i'm about to drop. LOL! Unfortunately, today is no difference. ^_^ My eyes are straining and the only thing that's keeping me from dropping onto my bed is my wet hair. I'm too lazy to blow-dry so i'm waiting for it to dry naturally. Gahhhh! Hurry up!
Today, or yesterday, I met the uni peeps for high tea at Goodwood Hotel. Haahahaha yes, another high tea at the same place! Just 4 days after my last high tea with Li and Sharon. Today was with Adrianne, Kai Xin, Suguna and Li. I am sooo terrible! Even after waking earlier, i still run late doing my stoopid make up and ended up meeting Li late. This bad habit really SUCKS! If it's physically possible to kick my own ass, i'd do it! @_@
Anywaez, it was fun! I sweated like a pig the whole way there cos i wore my lovely purple lacey velvet jacket and we all know velvet in S'pore weather is just asking to be bbq-ed! I really sweated all the way on the train, walking to the hotel and only stopped in the blessed air-conditioned area of the high tea room!
Me, Sug and Li were there first and had a great time starting. Hahaha! We ate like crazy! Li was complaining and "sobbing" as there's none of that delish cheesy sausages today. Awwww! She really likes that sausage and it was the one thing she was looking forward to. Still there's plenty of other stuff and i ate till i was close to barfing. LOL!
When the other 2 finally arrived, we sat from 2 till 5 plus just eating and chatting. I dunno how those girls do it! At around 5, i was filled to the brim! I couldn't take another bite, couldn't drink any more of my tea, cos i would really throw up if i ate any more, and the others are still stuffing down scones and stuff. My god, i had to lean back to try and relieve the pressure from my tummy! Hahahah!
Oooohh but there was one period where we were crapping about bananas~! KX and Adr were making obscene jokes about bananas and stuff, so when i saw this HUGE banana at the buffet, i just took the whole thing and plop it on Li's lap. Hahahaha it cracked everyone up! Then we began doing gross poses with it and taking pics! Muahahahaha! Pervs lah the whole lot! Then in the end i ate the banana. Omg i kept telling them not to make jokes cos i really wanted to eat it and then KX was being an idiot saying i'm holding the banana in an obscene way. Helllloooo? I'm holding it properly. The reason why she thinks it's obscene is cos the banana was slight bent, and looks alot like *ahem*. But that's the way it naturally is! I can't help it! Should i just break it in half or stg?! LOL! Crazy girl!
After we left, adr and KX went off and met other frens. We didn't go with them cos like i said we weren't interested in other activites they wanted to plan and ever since they became best buddies over some relationship issues, we find that they're acting weird. Suguna left to go home. Me and Li didn't tell any of them that we were going to hang out. Hahaha! So bad rite?
But the reason for the first 2 was obvious. For suguna, we just felt that she has such a tight curfew from her mom and she doesn't like it when she has to go first and tends to want the group to split at the same time, we tot it's easier if we just shop on our own. So we waited till she left before heading into far east plaza.
We shopped and walked till i'm about dead! I'm totally exhausted, esp with my shoes which bit into my feet! Omg! Then we headed to taka's kinokuniya! Hahahaha we're both manga freaks lah! I'm even more special cos even tho i dunno how to read japanese, i would still stand there and gaze or browse thru the books! Hahaha! My frens in school said when i do that, i look like i really know how to read japanese cos i still flip page by page. LOL! Heyyy i'm an art appreciator. I love art and nice drawings, so even if i dunno what they're saying, i still ove looking at all the details and stuff. Artst fartsy ya?
So the 2 of us in kino are like kids in a candy store. We'll go around ooh-ing and ahh-ing at manga, fangirl about series or books we like, characters, which manga has handsome guys(shallow girls lah!), which has good storyline, and at the same time will be talking about what anime is nice and recommend to each other. After all, we're the Seagate Sisters~! Hahah! Also known as B1 and B2~! Oooohh goodness, we're creating so many nicknames for ourselves! I dunno how the B1 and B2 thing came abt! I'm Banana 2 by the way. We're also known as anime buddies! OOooohh i really really like browsing at kino. Looking at mangas make me happy even tho i dun buy them. Yes i know it's weird but i can't explain why. It just is. ^_^
So afterwards, my feet tired as hell, we went to Mos Burger for drinks and fries. We only wanted someplace to chat and we're not even hungry! The fries are just to bite on something while talking. Hahah! One high tea can keep you full for the day. So we chatted till 10.30! Omg! I think we sat there for over an hour! But we had a good long chat. About loads of things. She told me alot of her troubles with Sharon and some of our classmates, japan, her Japanese class friends, and lots of things that upsetted her. Wow din noe she had so much trouble on her mind. I lent a listening ear for whatever she's unhappy about and crapped with her about the silly things abt our classmates. I learned alot of things i din noe of. And i was surprise she din run home early cos usually she goes home to have dinner with her dad.
Hahahaa the funniest thing was we talked till it's sooo late that alot of the entrances out of taka were closed! We were walking around like goondus until we went to the first level and found a way out! Hahaha pathetic lah!! How to go overseas? I'll just get lost and never return!
