Whoooaaa I am sooooo damn shagged. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *creak* my aching body!
I had morning class today and a project meeting in the afternoon which dragged on till 7 pm!!! Omg i stayed in school the whole damn day, and the super long discussion we had was only for choosing a research topic and objectives. So simple yet such a tediously long process of arguing, rephrasing and brainstorming. I'm exhausted. Even my toes are sleeping. Not to mention it was a super boring ER lecture with most of the ppl i'm not very close with. The others do not take this lesson due to having to repeat their failed subject(s).
I like my MOR group. We got along really well with the other 2 girls who joined us. Even tho we've just met a few days ago, everyone just clicked. We like to joke alot and chatter abt sooo many stuff(wooo i like these types rather than those who can't carry the convo much). On the one hand, that's cool cos it's so fun to hang out. But on the other hand it's also hard to focus on our project because we like to digress every now and then. Hehehe...loads of bantering abt silly things and making fun of each other. Plus a few threats thrown in as well. ^_^
Now the whole NKF hoop-lah is a main source of discussion for everyone. I knew that they were misusing their money! I mean how else can they afford such flashy charity shows and effects? My fren even told me that her fren's mother was a kidney failure patient who was asked to be one of those feature on the show. You know the parts where they tell abt the life story of some poor person with kidney failure and they try and make it as heart-wrenching as possible in order to pull at our sympathy strings, usually accompanied by melancholy piano music. Well she told me they made the mother act pathetic! Yes! They told the mother to weep. Even tho her situation is not as bad as they depicted! Then when she couldn't cry on command, they made her drool and act like a vegetable instead. Wtf man!
And with all the millions they took from donators, that bloody CEO bastard dared to buy gold plated toilet tapes(at $990!!!) and claimed it wasn't expensive! Hello??? When you earned $600,000 a year PLUS a year bonus, every frigging thing is cheap to you! And Goh Chok Tong's wife even dare to comment that his salary is "peanuts" compare to the money pulled in. Yeah the salary is peanuts, but those peanuts are meant for helping the patients!!! NOT to buy your bloody first class air tickets and pay for ur damn luxuries! Stoopid brainless comment! Lining their pockets with charity donations! How low can you get? Be sure to burn slowly in hell!
I'm sooo happy that all the board of directors and the CEO finally stepped down, even tho it's not much of a blow to them since they've already become so rich from NKF. They dun even need to work anymore from their accumulated wealth. Wow over 40,000 ppl signed the online petiton in a matter of days. That's crazy man! The whole downside to this is that a huge majority are hesitant to donate to charity now. All because of rotten eggs like the NKF ppl who ruined the reputation of all charities. ~sigh~
Teamied up with more different ppl in marketing. Met ppl whom i've never spoken to before till now. Oooh and i found another girl who's into anime. Only she is seriously into it. She's waaay more scary and fanatic and has watched loads more anime than me and even reads japanese manga. That's hardcore man!
