Peter called me at lunchtime, asking me if we needed anything from the store. I was looking in the fridge, checking dates on things - convo follows:
Me: What's the date today? The 8th?
Peter:... Oh, it is 9/11 of course.
Me: Oh yeah. Um, Happy 9/11 day? Hmm. That probably isn't really appropriate, is it?
Peter: No, probably not.
Anyway, it really amused me. But guess I won't be able to sell any of those Happy 9/11 Day cards I made now.
