WOW. Johanna has the trailer already and we brainstormed last night on AIM about what we could bring now we have TONS of space. We are both used to packing as lightly as possible; only taking what will fit, of course! Well, now this is not an issue. Funny thing, I'd rather NOT take stuff I won't really use. I don't want to get it out, pack it, unpack it, take care of it at camp, pack it back up, bring it home, unpack it again, wash it all and *whew* put it all away again.
BUT, I'm pretty sure we will be able to do all our shopping ahead of time and NEVER leave site. Her and I both love to be able to do that.
So, I am in the final stages of having everything that I want to sew CUT OUT--not sewn, but cut. I hate the cutting part and I tend to drag my feet on that. There is one more load in the dryer for preshrinking and when that is cut--I think I'll have it all. NOW the sewing part, I'm sure I'll be sewing up to the minute it's time to pack it all up and put it in the trailer Friday (July 31) morning at 5:00 am.
No love on craigslist pickup. It's a crap shoot but we're had such wonderful experiences (remember the bookshelves???!!) that a no-show on our end every once in a while is not a biggie. It was just a few extra bucks for spending at War. On the other hand, tonight I WILL be showing up for a purchase to solve a $68 problem with $40. Long story and I'll save it for later.
I put in a resume for another job--not going to worry anymore 'til AFTER Pennsic.
I need to get cracking here.
Dryer alarm went off--no excuses and can't pretend I didn't hear it!
