Sewing and more sewing
I took a break yesterday to go cruising in Kathi's new Pennsic-mobile........very nice. We hit a JoAnn's for ONE spool of thread for her but found a very very clearanced rack of beads. I spent $1.86 and got some GREAT stuff--probably about $10 of mostly black and white for the viking "thing." (Don't know what you'd call it. It goes from brooch to brooch and not around one's neck)
Right now I'm on a coffee break. I made all twelve ties for John's mongol archery jacket/top. I think that it will barely take me a couple hours to finish it when I get all those in place.
After that, it's cutting a full circle cloak and a couple more tunics. And after that it's sewing, sewing and more sewing.
I've got a bit of family and SCA business to handle this week, but mostly.....it's sewing.
