Just a little update............
John seems to be on afternoons now--but he's still on a sleeping schedule for working closes. It is not good for his health and he has lots of trouble adjusting. I am trying to go with the flow. I am definitely a morning person; I am usually awake around 6:30 am no matter what time of year (although it's definitely harder to get out of bed in the winter when the bed is warm and occupied and it's still dark outside and the floor is cold!)THIS morning, a cat was not happy with the state of the food bowl or I might have slept in just a tad more.
On the other hand, I have already blasted through some basic seam-age in my stack of black sewing and now am having my second cup of coffee and checking my mail. Before I hit the sewing machines again, I will do a load of dishes and put the coolers outside to dry. I should be able to make quite a dent in the stuff I want to finish this week by the end of the day.
The lunch tavern menu for Clancy Day is finally set and some shopping is done. I will prep-cook stuff this week a little at a time so that we will only have to do the fruit salad on Friday at Kathi's and pack up the group stuff that we need to take. I am going to put together a nice platter/basket for the Princess. I only remember she likes Vernor's so I better check their food lists again.
I need Pennsic money. It would be GREAT if I could make some nice cash on the merchanting stuff.
This week, I am concentrating on Clancy Day. Next Monday will be clean-up and on Tuesday next week I will start packing for Pennsic. The sewing will probably be on-going until the day before we leave (isn't it always??) but the MUST-DO list is not overwhelming. I have a few new things I'm planning; we'll see how much I get done.
I haven't looked at the class list yet as I have booked myself for water-bearing for all the point battles and guarding Midrealm for a couple of hours one day, and I need to make a schedule for myself before I look at classes. One thing I wanted to do might be canceled already but I won't look until next week when I'm REALLY ready to go full steam on the plans.
There's a lot of stuff to plan and organize for AFTER Pennsic, but I'm not even going to give it a thought until the day I get back.
