Would you spend 7,083.62 on a work of art?

If that work of art has been your obsession for 12 years.
And you collect all of the catalogues.
And you teared up just a little when you saw the work in person for the first time.

As you can tell I'm a little hardcore about this artist and on a whim I inquired about purchasing it last night.

If I had that kind of money and had obsessed about it that long, yeah sure! That's not an insane amount of art, by no means!

Sad thing is I don't actually have that kind of money. It was a whim and I wanted to know how she was fairing on the art market. Not as bad as I expected at all. I was thinking it would be more.
