Random things in my car over the weekend in no particular order
x-country ski gear
beer
seal skin
dishes
moose and elk hide
beaver fur
glass beads
groceries
As you can see from the above list I've somehow morphed into northern living. Although I'm terribly sore from x-country skiing. All of the animal bits are for a class I coordinated on how to make your own mukluks. I'm currently beading mine right now and can't wait to assemble them. I'm going to line them with -100 liners! Take that -40 winters. Fur & animal products are kinda inevitable here. Seriously I tried to wear my 100% fake warm winter jacket and it only got me through fall and now it is my spring/fall jacket. My winter jackets are all second hand and all require some sort of dead thing to keep me warm, whether it is wool or goose or something. Otherwise I'd just freeze.
This morning I'm drinking local coffee with cinnamon and maple syrup. Try it it's good! In other news I'm part of a local art show again. We are both terribly glad for a 4 day weekend. And we are starting to plant seeds today or tomorrow for our container garden. We're reading gardening books, particularly guerilla gardening a manifesto - which is really interesting.
