Ah bear with me as I don't have internet at home yet.
Things are going well. Damn it's cold here -32 right now but it feels like -36. I don't mind as I'm wearing a lot of warm clothing and fur. Well you can't really survive a Yukon winter without having some kind of animal wrapped around you for warmth. Mine are all secondhand. My parka is wool with trim and my mittens are felted wool with trim. We just bought Doug a good warm beaver fur hat at the salvation army to keep him warm when biking.
Work is work is work. It is still very fun and interesting but I am tired and can't wait for the holidays (yay 10 days off) to relax and make art. I'm creating felted vessels right now for an exhibition coming up in Feb and then more antique textile work for the solo show in Oct. '09.
