I was at the game today. *sighs* There is good and bad.
Good: We did get ourselves a lead, we got it all the way to OT, we didn't look horrible and we never gave up. Phil got back into his game in the third, but before that looked really shaky. Patrice looks a hell of a lot better than he did when he came back the first time. Matt Hunwick is earning his spot as my favourite current Bruin. He can poke check really well and he plays with every bit of himself. Timmy made some amazing saves, he's right on his game. We took a point out of it and I wasn't disgusted with his efforts.
Bad: We didn't win.
Also, on another good side, the Devils looked fantastic. The Travis-Zach-Jamie line is disgustingly good. Brendan still has it (I was in awe a couple seconds watching him play so close to me, I have to admit.) and though he's not playing up to where he used to, he's still great for this team. Brian managed to check Chara and win, he's playing like he's twenty and was great to watch. Patrik is back on his game, focused and playing like he should be.
We, the Bruins, were outplayed. That doesn't happen often.
