Watching/Watched:
Game One: Rangers vs Penguins. I hate rooting for the Pens, but I had to. I love my Rangers, but we need to jump them. And the Pens did as I hoped. By the way, Hal seems to be doing well, he was on with Petr and Evgeni most of the game. This was a fun game to watch and my Rangers didn't do badly despite the loss.
Game Two: Red Wings vs Predators. Again, I have to root against my Red Wings because my Preds need the points so badly, we're holding 8th by a thread. It was a hell of a game and my Preds did take a point, so that was a good thing, though I would have liked to win. I really hope that is a playoff match up, that was a fun game.
Game Three: Bruins vs Sabres. If we win, we jump the Rangers and the Flyers and settle into 6th, tied for 5th with Ottawa. This would cause squeeing like you would not believe. Furthermore if we beat Jersey day after tomorrow, which could put us into 5th for real.
Following But Cannot Watch:
Game Four: Phoenix vs San Jose. I really want the Coyotes to win this. It will keep them in the playoff race, even if by a thread. There's a chance. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing the Sharks take the President's, because it's cursed and I want my Wings to have more luck.
Game Five: Vancouver vs Calgary. I have to root for Calgary, so Vancouver can't take back 8th. This makes me feel ill. The things we do for our teams. I think even people in Edmonton are rooting for Calgary. Ugh, it just feels wrong.
Game Six: Colorado vs Minnesota. I'm good with the Avs jumping the Flames, pushing them down closer to 8th, so they can get kicked out and Nashville and Edmonton can make it in. Yeah, and I want a pony, too.
Other games: Dallas, Anaheim. Go Ducks. Chicago, Columbus. Go Hawks.
