First of all, Kez just got the gold star for the day. She knows why, you all just need to know how awesome she is.
Last night's game. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. For those of you who don't know, this is the first time I've watched Bruins versus Lightning since I've called myself a Lightning fan. There were just a handfull of things that really made my brain explode. Ryan scoring, of course. That's my rookie (though he's not a rookie anymore) and just mine. It's a long story, but yeah, that was really hard not to cheer for. Guys like Marty and Vinny and Russy getting tossed around was hard not to say "hey! don't do that!" Except when Chara started shoving my rookie, then I got mad. And the other thing was the face-offs. I've had to pay attention to those recently for another reason, and when Ryan took the few he took, it was hard not to cheer for him. Other than that, I was happy to see my Bruins playing well and thrilled we won. I have the game on tape (DVD) of course, so maybe I'll do real game notes sometime.
In other hockey: Yay for Buffalo kicking more ass. Yay for Atlanta handing Florida their asses on a silver platter. Yay for Carolina having yet to win a game. Damn Dallas. Yay for Minnesota and Brian scoring the GWG! Damn Calgary, but wow for Joffrey making a lot of people not miss Chris. Yay for Sharks shutout! I would have had more to say if my lazy self had written this yesterday. As it is, that's all.
