that was a really excellent blog post, and i'm so glad you're going in this direction with your writing. i would definitely read that book, and i never read romances!

that's so true. i remember reading an interview with lin-manuel miranda (the hamilton dude) being like, there were no really good roles on broadway for latino-american dudes, except maybe west side story - so he wrote in the heights, and he wrote hamilton. i think that's pretty amazing!
