I need to stop playing the "what if" game, pack my bags, and move on.

I am just focusing on myself for the first time in an extremely long time, which is wonderful, but I still wish I could somehow have my closure with Alex. However that will never happen, and I need to open my pretty little eyes and come to terms with that.
