It's my birthday! Have you got any HP or LOTR fics to give as presents?
Today is my birthday, and I was hoping, if I ask very nicely, I might get a few fic recommendations for a gift. Any length, any kind, as long as its one you've enjoyed well enough to share with me.

I know I might be asking for a lot, but just think about how hard it is for me to have a Christmas birthday, when no one really has time to spend specifically on me, and all their present buying money has already been spent on Christmas presents, and anything I do get is wrapped in Christmas paper, so that I feel like I never really have a birthday.... sorry. I let myself get carried away there.
Anyway, I would really appreciate anything you could share, especially since I've got the rest of the week off from work to catch up on my reading!
