It's a scholarship specifically for nontraditional students. It was based on my academics, an application and letter I wrote. :)

That's even cooler! Beating out people on merit rather than random number type stuff.

Before long I'm going to start trying for the big deal scholarships, based on artistic merit... Those are going to be a punch in the ego, I'm sure.

This definitely helped reassure me that I'm going in the right direction though! :)
